CNS greenhouses support faculty and student research, house historical and rare New England plants, and offer the public an opportunity to admire unusual plants in a beautiful conservatory setting.

CNS Research & Education Greenhouse

The Research & Education Greenhouse consists of a Silver-rated LEED facility, built in 2011, and includes 12 separate rooms in two wings that serves as both greenhouse and laboratory. Also part of the facility is a renovated greenhouse with four rooms of upgraded teaching and research facilities.

Morrill Greenhouses

The six Morrill Greenhouses are primarily devoted to teaching, and house a collection of over 680 genera comprising more than 225 families. This facility is open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and visitors are always welcome.

Durfee Conservatory

The Durfee Conservatory is the university's oldest greenhouse facility, opened in 1867. It  is open to visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
