Staudenmayer and colleagues awarded NIH grant
John Staudenmayer, Mathematics & Statistics, is part of a team of UMass researchers who’ve received a $2.4 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to examine two distinct exercise training regimes designed to improve skeletal muscle function in older men and women. Staudenmayer, an expert in developing statistical techniques to analyze health data, will work with colleagues from the School of Public Health & Health Sciences. Read more.
