Extension’s Keystone Project honored for work to protect woodlands

UMass Extension’s Keystone Project received the 2017 Environmental Service Award for Outstanding Environmental Education from the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions. The award cites Keystone for “its exemplary work with landowners, conservation commissioners and many others to protect woodlands.” Keystone has been led since 1988 by professor and state extension forester Dave Kittredge and Paul Catanzaro, both Environmental Conservation.
