Experiential Learning (internships, co-ops, research, clinical experiences, job shadowing, service learning and volunteering, career-related summer jobs, and study abroad) are all ways to differentiate yourself to potential employers and grad schools. These experiences show organizations that you can integrate your academic skills and combine them with skills obtained in industry or with organizations to be a top-notch candidate. The sooner you are able to focus on what types of experiential learning interest you, the more opportunities you will have. We can help you with this in the CNS Career Center.
