Walk-In Resume Reviews

Get your resume critiqued by knowledgeable peer advisors any weekday from 1:00-4:00 pm in Goodell 511 while classes are in session. No appointment needed!

Big Interview Training System

Record, play back, and score your responses to the most common interview questions using Big Interview. Practice virtual interviewing for dozens of industries at all experience levels, get tips for answering specific questions, and explore a comprehensive video training curriculum covering all aspects of landing a job or internship.

In-person Interviews

Prepare for your job interview by scheduling a practice session with your CNS career advisor.  We provide field-specific interviews as well as individualized advice for how to be at your best. Record and review your responses to potential interview questions using our video streaming technology.

Specialized Career Fairs

Bring your A Game to the largest career fair in Western Massachusetts. Over 130 well-known companies regularly come to UMass Amherst to recruit our majors. We also run smaller career fairs throughout the year, focusing on the Life Sciences, Computer Sciences, Engineering, and other STEM majors.

Support for Recent Alumni

Get full support from the CNS Career Center for 6 months after your graduation date. Recent CNS alumni can email to schedule an appointment. UMass alumni also have lifetime access to CareerConnect, as well as a range of career development services provided by the Alumni Association.
