About

CNS prepares students for careers in the sciences, medicine, industry, and agriculture, as well as entry into graduate and professional schools.

CNS offers more than 30 BS and BA programs in which students can study topics ranging from astrophysics to wildlife conservation, from renewable energy to clinical psychology. CNS undergraduates take advantage of a range of inquiry-based classroom and laboratory experiences, hands-on research opportunities, multidisciplinary education and research initiatives, and a variety of academically oriented student organizations. CNS undergraduates are outstanding students: they regularly win national Goldwater and Fulbright scholarships, more than a third make the Dean’s List, and a third are also members of Commonwealth Honors College.
