Hayward develops innovative 3-D printing ink

Ryan C. Hayward, Polymer Science & Engineering, and colleagues at MIT have developed a new type of ink used in 3-D printing of electronic components that allows the devices to self-fold. The ink, discovered by accident by the scientists, could be used for medical devices and microsystems for robots.
