Patricia Mullan '83 BA is a regional planner with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) in Boston. She has worked at the DEP for 29 years, having served in several positions in the bureaus of Waste Site Cleanup and Waste Prevention, focusing on grant management, public involvement and business compliance. Earlier in her career, Patti was a geographer and cartographer with the Defense Mapping Agency. In 1990 she received a master's degree from the John W. McCormack School of Policy and Global Studies at UMass Boston. Originally from Worcester, Patti is active in local issues in Milton, Mass., where she lives with her husband and three children, one of whom is a recent UMass Amherst CNS graduate.
