Gifts may be made in a variety of ways. We've highlighted a few opportunities below, but please feel free to contact us to find out the best way to give to meet your personal or organizational charitable interests.
Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and friends, 48.7% of CNS seniors who graduated in 2013 were able to attend UMass Amherst. Your support of our students through scholarships and fellowships enriches their academic experience and enables their participation in research, internships, independent projects, and participation in scientific conferences.
Endowed chairs and professorships are fundamental to enhancing our capacity for world-class research and to attracting the next generation of superior scientists. Support for fully endowed faculty positions also creates new opportunities for graduate student research funding and helps to expand our public-private partnerships.
CNS faculty members engage in scientific discoveries that range from nanoparticles to terabytes, from observational to theoretical, from the natural to the man-made. Your investment in CNS research and programs will stimulate cutting-edge, interdisciplinary discoveries in the life sciences, environment, energy, and informatics and improve the world we live in.
Your support for CNS facilities and infrastructure provides the building blocks for the physical foundations that enable state-of-the-art learning and research.
Gifts to the Annual Fund support every aspect of our students' education, in and out of the classroom, in the lab, in internships and independent studies. Not only does every gift make a difference, but every donor counts, too. Your Annual Fund gift both grows the participation rate upon which the university is ranked and increases the value of your degree.
