Ibroxim is a first-generation college student who transferred to UMass from the University of New Haven.  He is in his junior year and majoring in Biology and Psychology. He was born and raised in Uzbekistan, but his family later moved to Turkey. His family immigrated to the United States in 2007. He is fluent in five languages. His involvement in campus life spans from being a teaching assistant to a climate ambassador. Ibroxim spends his spare time volunteering, being an EMT, watching mixed martial arts, and learning new skills such as HTML/CSS. In the future, Ibroxim hopes to continue his education in medical school and give back to his communities in the United States, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
